There’s a dance program in the West that keeps our kids dancing, and its called Bush Beatz.

Dance has long been ingrained in the stories of the Outback, and Red Ridge wants to ensure that this creative tradition isn’t lost in our communities.

Thus, the Bush Beatz program was created! Inspiring the next generation to bust a move and ensuring Outback youth can follow their dancing interests or learn new skills at regular dance workshops.

Everyone should follow their passion, no matter if you live in the city or the bush. The Bush Beatz Performing Arts Outreach Program is all about activating and promoting the future of arts in regional and remote Queensland through our Outback youth – from young tots to teenagers. Taught by local dance instructors and provided locally, we created not only a reliable dance program, but a sustainable one that builds creative career opportunities for those in the Central Queensland region.

Bush Beatz was proudly founded by local not-for-profit arts and culture organisation Red Ridge (Interior Queensland) Ltd.
